Message from event organizer: Jamie O’Rourke

The 6th Grass Ridge CDE will return on October 22, 23 & 24, 2010 to George and Nina Masek’s Grass Ridge Farm in Sonoita, AZ. Some new features will be offered at this year’s event. A preliminary VSE division will be part of the program thanks to the enthusiastic support the VSE’s gave training last year. A giant step for Grass Ridge is the inclusion of an Advanced level Horse Driving Trial offering Arizonians, and also we hope friends from farther afield, two opportunities in the state to compete at the top level.

We are very lucky to have an outstanding group of officials for this year’s competition. President of the Jury will be Boots Wright from Florida with Jury Member Larry Poulin from Massachusetts, and TD Ted Campbell from California. Larry will be conducting a clinic on Monday the 25th offering 50 minute lessons. The lessons are $100 each and limited to 8 participants on a first come, first served basis. Contact Jamie O’Rourke to reserve a place 484-832-4365 P.O. Box 587 Unionville, Pa. 19375 grassridgecde@aol.com

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Sonoita  in October; bring your best costumes for an outstanding Halloween Party Saturday the 23rd.
